Many older people struggle in silence with their emotional wellbeing.

If you’re feeling anxious, sad, lonely or depressed, or you are grieving, help is out there and it’s OK to ask for support. The first step is to talk to someone, and know you’re not alone.

Here are some of the things you can do:

  • Talk to someone: tell someone you trust how you’re feeling or contact your GP surgery.
  • Text: text the word SUSSEX to 85258
  • Call the Silver Line Helpline for free on 0800 4 70 80 90
